Please circulate this email to your teammates. Thank you for having been a part of OQL Season 8. We are now at an end of the season and wanted to congratulate all our winners and advise on how to be a part of season 9 and any other OQL competitions.
There are many ways you can confirm you are entering season 9 (if you have already done any of these or you have prepaid for multiple seasons then you don’t need to worry). Deadline to register is 6th January
- You can register at the website via https://quizcentral.net/qc/Online_Quiz_League_UK_-_Register.
- You can email us at info@onlinequizleague.com or by sending Jon a direct message over Facebook to confirm you’re returning.
- You can complete payment of the registration fee at the details below to confirm your place.
These are the dates of the upcoming seasons.
- Season 9 – January 11th - 26th April 2023
- Season 10 – May 10th – July 19th 2023 (There is NO Jon Jacob cup after this season but Brain of Online Quiz League (BOOQL) will run)
- Season 11 - 30th August - 13th December 2023
- Season 12 – January 10th - 25th April 2024
You are able to register for multiple seasons to receive a price break. It's £70 a season but if you sign up for two seasons you'll pay £135, three seasons is £195 and four seasons is £25. These are the dates for the upcoming seasons.
Payments should be made via bank transfer to Tide Bank Account, Online Quiz League, Sort Code 04-06-05 Account number 15269534. If your team are not based in the UK then please go to PayPal.me/OQL to complete the payment.
There are two other OQL competitions currently open for registration.
Our Pop Culture Challenge returns for its 5 iteration and will commence on 6th February. This is an individual quiz played to the Mimir format and players are guaranteed 9 quizzes with a focus on everything pop culture. Connections Online Quiz League returns for Season 5 on February 14th. This is our competition which is based on and replicates the TV show Only Connect. This competition is huge fun and receives overwhelmingly positive feedback and this year we’re even introducing a trial tournament so teams or players can see what to expect before the competition begins. To participate in either the main competition or the trial competition just register at https://quizcentral.net/qc/Connections_Online_Quiz_League_-_Register and await further instructions. To join the main league you must register by 7th February and for the taster tournament you must register by 3rd January.

- Division 7 - Winners – 24 Hour Quiz People – also promoted Legion of Zoom, The Peter Falkoners, Elephants in the Zoom.
