It’s officially Summer, so that means it is time for long nights, cool drinks and lots and lots of quiz!
With the latest season of the ICC drawing to an end, and the end of another OQL season, it seems like a good time to round up what is happening.
ICC
The International Culture Challenge is finishing its second season with many tiers now being decided. It seems only right that we highlight our 4 top tier finalists:
These 4 amazing quizzers have given their all and will now compete one last time for the tier 1 title. It’s anyone’s guess who will win this! The grand final will take place at 4pm BST on Sunday 24th July and will be streamed on our Twitch about 30 minutes later.
OQL
With another OQL season at a close let us see the winners of each division!

Congratulations to all these teams, a hard fought season and they have earned victory, defeating some of the best teams in the country on their way to division titles.
Don’t worry though, we will not be gone for long! The next season of OQL will begin on Wednesday 31st August. Deadline for teams to enter will be AUGUST 26TH, for individuals it will be WEDNESDAY AUGUST 24TH. Prices for OQL next season are as follows: £70 for returning teams or £55 for a new team.
Existing teams can pay for multiple seasons at the following rate:
- £135 for 2 seasons
- £195 for 3 seasons
- £250 for 4 seasons

COQL
We are delighted to announce the next season of COQL – Connections Online Quiz League. Based on the very popular BBC TV show Only Connect, the COQL sees teams of three face off against each other in 4 rounds of connections, sequences, a fearsome connecting wall and missing vowels.
This new season will begin August 30th but the deadline to sign up for this competition will be SUNDAY 21st AUGUST. The price for teams for this season will be £165 or £150 for brand new teams. Further details can be found at:
PCC
Pop Culture Challenge is back! Our mimir formatted quiz about all things pop culture. So, if you’re more up to date on your Harry Styles than your Sibelius, know more about Will Smith’s hit film King Richard than Shakespeare’s King Richard or if you prefer Gordon’s gin to the Gordon Riots, this is the quiz for you! Sign-ups for this competition will be open for sign ups until FRIDAY 26th AUGUST. Make sure you’re signed up for multiple weeks of excellent quizzing. The price for this competition will be £30 or £25 for any person playing their first OQL mimir competition.
