After the huge success of the last two Weekenders, we will once again take over the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly (which will be rebranded in 2027 as Lyf) for our 2027 event! Perfectly located slap-bang in the centre of the city, we have secured a special hotel booking rate for all Weekender attendees. As well as team and individual quizzes spread throughout the weekend, there will be plenty of social activities to provide many opportunities to socialise with your fellow quizzes. Events will include:

- Pairs SpeedQuiz
- Live VIII (individual written quiz across multiple subjects)
- The flagship OQL Regional Championship quiz
- Multimedia TV quiz
- Connections Online Quiz League Live
- Lewis Jones’s Big Pub Quiz
- Buzzer Quiz and Board game rooms
- Redtooth Smart Phone quiz
There will also be social activities held around the main events, open to all who wish to attend. These include:
- Quizzers 5-a-side and parkrun events for an active body as well as active mind
- Quizzers Karaoke
- Cash For Questions live game show with Ian Aitkenhead and Bonni Champou
We are open to adding any other social events that may be enjoyed to this group, so let us know if you have any ideas for social events that might prove popular.
You can see a full and detailed schedule of all events here. Attendees may attend as many, or as few of the events as they wish to, and there will be dedicated buzzer quiz, board game, and chill-out rooms available on site at all times if you want to take a break from the main area.

You can experience all of these quizzes for just £189. However, up until 28th February 2027, there is an early bird ticket price of just £159! You can also purchase single day passes for £79 a day. The day passes allow you access to all of that day’s events. Registration will close on 30th June.
