Individual Championships
Welcome to the page for OQL Live VIII! A series of individual written quizzes taking places at venues across the country on 8 months of the year. Here you can see the full schedule for the year and register for the upcoming event or register for all remaining events in a calendar year to receive a discount.

Our March event is now OPEN for registration. This is our International quiz set which is aimed at a truly global audience and is being played at venues around the world.

Entry fee for each event is just £11 (with a £2 surcharge for London) and for that you will get a full day of quizzing fun, the expected schedule for each event is listed below.
Approximate schedule for the day of each quiz is as follows (at some venues times may vary slightly)
11:00 – Arrive
11:30 – Quiz begins
13:15 – Quiz ends, marking begins
14:00 – Marking ends – lunch
15:00 – Fun team quizzes
17:00 – Expected finish time but some venues may continue quizzing later.

January 20th - Aidan Linge
February 24th - Rachel Clark and Alexia Jarvis
March 23rd - OQL World Championships written by Rob Hannah
April 27th - Andrew and Frankie Fanko
June 29th - Innis Carson and Jon Stitcher
July 27th - Best of British and Irish quiz written by Aaron Linge. This event will form part of the OQL British Quiz Weekender so there will be fewer separate venues.
September 28th - Jack Bennett
October 26th - Lauren Hamer
The categories are the standard 8 OQL categories with a few minor changes. All questions will be written by Aidan Linge and edited by Rob Hannah and you can see the category distribution below.

Each category will have a nearest the bull tie-breaker and there will be an overall tie-breaker as well.
