Brain of Online Quiz League - Schedule - Season 3
Brain of Online Quiz League 5 (BOOQL 5) will take place in June and July 2024 during OQL Season 13 and registration will open shortly. Entry fee will be £10 per player.
The schedule is below - please note that all matches will be scheduled using the Quiz Central scheduling tool used in both ICC and PCC - full instructions on how to use this will be provided.
June 3rd-9th - Qualifier to determine which tier everyone plays in. Players will be randomly drawn in a game of 4 to play an 8 round, 24 quad mimir competition. Players are then ranked based on own gets, total points and strength of seat to determine their tiers for the competition.
June 10th-16th - Heats - These games will be scheduled between the players to take place at any point during the game week. The top 2 in each heat will progress to the Quarter finals - the other two players will be will move to placement games.
June 17th-23rd - Quarter Finals - These games will be scheduled between the players to take place at any point during the game week. The top 2 in each quarter final game will progress to the Semi finals - the other two players will move to placement games. Places who finished 3rd or 4th in the heats will place placement games this week.
June 24th-30th - Semi Finals - These games will be scheduled between the players to take place at any point during the game week. The top 2 in each heat will progress to the Tier Final - the other two players will move to placement games. All previously eliminated players will continue to play placement games.
July 1st-7th - Final - These games will be recorded and aired on our YouTube channel. The winner of each match will be crowned BOOQL Tier Champion and win the BOOQL trophy. Players will still schedule their matches as normal and all eliminated players will play in placement matches.
