A product of the pandemic, Ordeal by Ignorance, are a team formed from regular players in author Michael J. Ritchie's regular Zoom quiz.
With no experience of league quizzing before OQL, Ordeal is made up of an eclectic mix of 9 quizzers from around the country. Specialisms within the team include Agatha Christie, James Bond, Eurovision, wrestling and Napoleon. The team are still waiting in vain for one of their specialists to be on the roster for the week when their topics come up.
